What is a tyre protection chain, what are its characteristics, and how to install and use it?
The tire protection chain is a kind of tire protection equipment, which adopts advanced production technology at home and abroad, uses high-quality alloy steel material, through precision forging, high-strength full-automatic flash butt welding, reasonable weaving structure and special welding process.
Structure
A tire protection chain for construction machinery is provided with a chain link, a main connector connected between the chain links, a side chain connecting the two side chains and a butt chain member connected on the two end chains. Fastening ropes with rope clamps at both ends are installed on the two side chains, the main connector is an open type, and a reinforcing pin is fixed at the opening. Because the reinforcing pin is tightly connected with the two sides of the main connector, it plays the role of the top beam, the chain mouth is not easy to deform, the damage rate is low, and the service life is long.
Characteristics
The protection chain has good wear resistance and strong fatigue resistance, and its service life can reach 3000-8000 hours according to service conditions. Installation Method
Tools required: hammer, pliers, iron wire (about 1m)
1. Put the loader in a flat area and let out about one third of the air in the tire.
2. Unfold and flatten the tire chain in front of the tire (inside and outside).
3. Remove the accessories (opening connector and diamond opening connector) and hang one end of the tire chain with about 1m iron wire.
4. Start the loader and pay attention to the alignment between the front of the tire and the front of the tyre chain.
5. Hang the tread pattern of the tire with iron wire, place the chain with a crowbar, and the vehicle moves backward slowly until the protective chain wraps the tire completely (front wheel backward, rear wheel forward).
6. After the two ends of the chain are aligned, use the connecting joint to connect the two ends.
7. String the tightening chain on the outside of the tire and adjust the tightening.
8. Check the locking ring of the whole tire protection chain to make its welded joint outward to avoid wearing the tire.
